Lalor North College to include Macedonian language in 2017 Curriculum

Lalor North College is holding a Macedonian Musical Extravaganza on WEDNESDAY 22nd MARCH.

Lalor North College is holding a Macedonian Musical Extravaganza on WEDNESDAY 22nd MARCH, 2017 at 6.60 pm to launch to the community that Macedonian will be introduced into the college curriculum in 2018 as part of its Community Language and Cultural Immersion Program.

Macedonian is being introduced at Lalor North College because of strong community demand. Students at the college will have the opportunity to learn the Macedonian languege in a range of contexts, through intensive language teaching and through cultural immersion.

Aneta Vangelov will be coordinationg the program, and she is currently well underway in developing the curriculum.

College Principal, John Conway and Assistant Principal, Chris Peake are exited about this curriculum initiative and look forward to a wonderful evening on Wednesday 22nd March.

The Macedonian Musical Extravaganza is about celebrating the rich tradition of the Macedonian culture and launching this new program to the community.

It is a FREE Event for all - free entry, free food and free entertainment.

All members of the Macedonian and broader community are invited to attend this event which promises to be a fun night for all.
